Copper alloy folding strap clasp. A rectangular frame with slightly convex sides and a ridge near each corner. There is a rectangular folding end at the outer edge of the frame (the frame has been narrowed to accomodate it). This has a separate, solid, bar mount attached by a single rivet. The edges of the bar mount are bevelled. At the other side is a folded sheet metal plate for attachment to a strap. This is recessed for the frame and has been pinched in behind it. The plate is rectangular and has a single rivet at the centre of the distal end. The front of the plate is decorated with two bands of stamped opposing triangles across the narrow axis of the distal end.
