A cast copper alloy two piece strap end. The attachment edge is scalloped and has a round aperture. The front of the plate is undecorated. At the back is a slightly shorter plate with rounded corners The two plates are joined by two circular copper alloy rivets, one in each corner at the attachment end. The rivets have flat heads. Date: Medieval- c. 1300 - 1500 Dimensions: 17.30 mm x 15.18 mm x 3.17 mm Weight: 1.52 g
