An incomplete cast copper alloy Trumpet brooch dating to the early Roman period. Only the upper half of the brooch remains. The brooch has a convex oval head with a single lug in the centre on the reverse securing a copper alloy spring. The spring is damaged and the pin is incomplete. The bow is comma shaped in profile, incomplete, and has a half rounded acanthus reel in the centre.
