An incomplete medieval cast copper alloy elaborate quatrefoil brooch, missing its pin. The brooch is a quatrefoil with rounded knops in the recesses, with an open centre. On one of the arches there is a constriction for the pin. The brooch is down in a rough grey-green corrosion, with an underlying dark green patina. The brooch has also been bent in half. The brooch measures 30.8mm x 27.5mm x 2mm, and weighs 3.73g. Griffiths et al. (2007, 145; no. 1735) date a plainer example to the 13th-14th century.
