A post medieval spur; the terminals and rowel are missing. The short fat square section box tapers into narrow curved arms which held the rowel. Both box and arms are similarly decorated with three bands each partially filled with lines of punched dots. there are four such bands on the box and the bands on the arms terminate in ring and dot stamps.
