Five flakes and blades, some with evidence of retouch, numbers relate to objects in photograph. 1. Tertiary blade/flake struck off a prepared platform. Bulb of percussion and percussion waves on the ventral face; multiple arises on the dorsal face. Possible usewear on both edges and areas of starch fractures. Possible semi-abrupt parallel retouch at the distal end of the dorsal face creating a rounded end; the area has many fractures and an angular break making it hard to be certain the retouch is deliberate. Mid buff with mottling; 9.22 grams. 2. Tertiary blade struck off a prepared platform. Bulb of percussion and percussion waves on the ventral face; multiple arises on the dorsal face. There is an area of shallow, short, scaler retouch near the distal end of the left edge of the ventral face. There are notches on each side about one third of the way up from the striking platform end (proximal) both created by possible retouch, one with retouch on the ventral face, the other on the distal. This might be preliminary work before snapping the flint. Mid brown-orange with mottling; 5.61 grams. 3. Tertiary blade struck off a prepared platform. Bulb of percussion, and percussion waves on the ventral face; multiple arises on the dorsal face. The blade ends in a hinge fracture and there are irregular breaks down the left edge. pale grey with darker mottling; 4.37 grams. 4. Secondary blade struck off a prepared platform. Bulb of percussion and percussion waves on the ventral face; multiple arises on the dorsal face. Cortex remains at the distal end on the dorsal face covering c.10% of the face. Possible usewear on both edges. Dark grey-brown with mottling; 4.98 grams. 5. Secondary flake struck off a prepared platform. Bulb of percussion and percussion waves on the ventral face; multiple arises and bulb scars on the dorsal face. Cortex remains at the distal end of the left edge of the dorsal face covering c.5% of the face. Possible usewear on the opposite. Pale grey-brown with mottling; 6.70 grams.
