Notes:
Part of a large collection of debitage, cores and casual tools from one site. These are possibly from two groups with some finer flint used for a more blade focused technology, possibly Early Neolithic in date and a possibly Late Neolithic group using poorer quality material and broad flakes. This may also be a contemporary response to different materials or collection of different materials for different tools. One identified tool, a scraper, is possibly of the horseshoe type most common in the Late Neolithic. Interestingly this uses the higher quality flint supporting the view that variations are due to the different materials rather than periods.
