ARROWHEAD

Unique ID: SOM-5F7DE3

Object type certainty: Probably
Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

The tip of a flint arrowhead of Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date. The tip shows low-angle, covering, scaled retouch on both faces. The flint is light brown-grey in colour and is so finely worked that it is almost translucent around the edges. The small size of the fragment makes it difficult to determine the original shape of the arrowhead from which it originated. Length: 16.82mm, Width: 13.59mm, Thickness: 2.19mm Weight: 0.38g
