Treasure case 2009 T217
Descrioption: Silver fragment, possible from a brooch. The fragment is misshapen. Four recesses remain, flanked by the remnants of silver border, that would have spanned the circumference of the brooch.
Discussion: The fragment is unlikely to be earlier than 19th Century.
The find dates to later than 1709 and as such falls outside the provisions of the Treasure Act 1996.
