A medieval gold stirrup-shaped finger-ring, the hoop of D-shaped section, with an oval bezel from which the stone is now missing.
Dimensions:
Diameter: 18.8mm. Diameter incl bezel 19mm.
The find therefore qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996 in terms of both age and precious metal content and should go forward to inquest.
