A cast copper alloy handle from a copper alloy vessel, possibly a ewer. The fragment consists of a flat section of metal which then steps down into the terminal, before finishing with a rounded end. The upper surface of the flat section has been decorated with three incised circles. One only part survives due to the break, it is formed from two concentric circles. The next ring is also formed from two concentric circles, with a dot in the centre. The final circle is just a ring and dot motif. It has a light brownish-green patina. Due to a lack of context it is not possible to closely date this object, although it is medieval to post medieval in date.

This is most likely the end of a posnet handle of late medieval or early post-medieval date. See Norwich Households no. 563 (Margeson 1993, pp. 90-1, 93) for a close parallel.
