A discoidal flint scraper dating from the Neolithic period. It is 41mm in diameter and 12.1mm thick. It weighs 17.37gm. The flint is dark grey and opaque. There is a striking platform at the proximal end, but the rest of the convex edges are retouched with semi-abrupt and abrupt removals. There are also some invasive removals. There are some chips in the edge which are later damage. Similar scrapers can be seen in figure 53 of “Prehistoric Flintwork” by Butler (2005).
