Copper alloy coin weight of James I for a revalued spur ryal of the second coinage. It is square and double sided. Obverse: Crown above XVIs/VID with small crowned I over stamped to left of large crown; reverse: rose on sun surrounded by lions and lis within a tressure of eight arches. It is 16.3mm by 16.2mm and 3.7mm thick. It weighs 6.82 grams, 103.8 grains.
