A copper alloy pin from a late Roman crossbow brooch. The pin has a hexagonally faceted globular head with a small hexagonal projection above at the top. Immediately below the head is a moulded collar comprising a screw thread of four or five reels. The pin below is circular in cross-section and broken shortly after it leaves the collar. The pin is similar to Butcher & Bayley, 2004, p119, fig. 327 & 328.
