A rim sherd of a ceramic vessel which is probably late medieval in date (1400 - 1500). The fabric is hard and laminated with a few small holes left by organic temper. There are many large dark red some grey inclusions. The fabric is light pinkish brown and has been wiped or smoothed. The sherd is 45.64mm long, 37.57mm wide and 15.11mm thick. It weighs 31.4g. The vessel would have had a diameter of c. 185mm.
