Small gold ring with a d-shaped hoop. Inscribed on the inside "Thy light is my delight". There are very small traces of black enamelling present within the lettering. The style of the lettering is consistent with 17th century rings of this type. Posy rings were also used as love tokens, with the inscription remaining secret to all but the wearer.
