Silver thimble, now distorted and torn. The border around the opening consists of a plain band below a ribbed band. The sides and slightly domed top of the thimble are covered with annulets, apart from a small rectangular field directly above the border through which the thimble is torn, and which was probably intended for engraving initials which have now either been worn away or were never present.
