Extremely worn cast cu-alloy flat axe dating from the Early Bronze Age, i.e. c. 2100-1900BC. The axe is quite small and extremely worn. The original surface is gone and what lies underneath is deeply pitted and corroded. If the axe was decorated, then nothing of the decoration remains. It had almost parallel sides, a rounded butt and a curved blade which is now blunt. Due to the current state of the axe, no toolmarks or other signs of wear can be made out.
