Treasure report from J P Robinson:

A late Medieval finger-ring consisting of a flat hoop, on to which is soldered a bezel. The latter takes the form of a heart sprouting flowers, though the detail is much abraded due to wear. The gilding survives in the deepest recesses around and within the bezel.

The finger-ring is silver-gilt and dates from the late fifteenth or early sixteenth century.

Treasure report from J P Robinson:

Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
