Object type certainty: Certain

Cast lead double faced circular token. The token has a raised letter, probably an H, within a circular line border on one side and at least six irregular radiating lines on the other, possibly a rough Chi-Rho. It is 13.79mm in diameter, 1.7mm wide and weighs 2.14 grams. Lead tokens had a variety of uses and were often made locally, They are therefore hard to date precisely although those with initials are often Post Medieval in date c.1500-1800 AD.
