Incomplete, cast lead, post-medieval cloth seal. The object represents one half of the complete seal. It is a disc, being circular in plan and flat in section. The flat shank that would have linked this disc with its pair is now missing. One face of the disc is marked with a crude hexagram (star of David), suggesting it may be a kosher seal. A similar seal is reported from Lincolnshire as LIN-290B62. the seal is 20.33mm in diamter, 2.22mm thick and weighs 4.74g.
