Lead disc, probably one of the inner discs of a four-part cloth seal. The disc is flat and circular, with two sprues, one either side. One surface is decorated with a crowned bust facing forwards, similar to the busts featured on medieval coins. It is therefore possible that this seal is late medieval in date.
