The item is a cast lead bust. The bust has short hair - there is no detail. The facial features are very worn but are very similar to Afro-Caribbean features. The neck has a flared ridge. Beneath this is a circular sectioned stem from which there is a sub-square sectioned stem. There is a casting seam running from 'ear to ear'. The surface of the item is now a shiny beige colour.
