Three iron cannon balls. There are two 11lb balls, each 110mm diameter (4 5/16 inch), and one 9lb ball.

Notes:

It appears that these were found in the grounds of a demolished school. It is not certain that when they were found they were buried. they are likely to be of late 18th century or early 19th century date. There is no indication that any has been fired. They may have been used as shot-put.
