?Roman copper alloy mount, possible furniture fitting (from box or casket), elongated sub-lozengiform with two perforations above curled forward knop at terminal, the lower of which contains the remains of a sub-rectangular copper alloy rivet, the uppermost perforation is chamfered on the reverse, upper end of mount with lobed terminal. 12 x 54mm.
