Roman Denarius of Julia Maesa (AD 218-222) (Reece Period 10), SAECVLI FELICITAS, Felicitas standing left at altar, holding patera and caduceus. Probably Mint of Rome. RIC IV, pt 2, p. 50, no. 272., 18mm in diameter and worn with a large chip missing from above the bust. Very corroded reverse, poor silver.
Notes:
Probable unassociated stray to a hoard of ten denarii found in the same area and likely to have been deposited very early in the 3rd century.
