Fragment of copper alloy brooch. Wings, head, part of bow and hinged pin only. Flat topped tubular wings housing the copper alloy axis bar and decorated with two grooves around the ends. The copper alloy hinged pin is attached to the axis bar. The head is narrowed from the wings and has the remnants of a chain loop at the top. The head is incised with a saltire cross. Below this is a raised ovoid stud, recessed for enamel, placed longitudinally. The bow tapers from this point and is decorated with a recessed rectangular panel of lozenge chambers for enamel. No enamel surviving.
