A gold mourning ring inscribed 'FV. Ob; 16 May 70 prepare to follow' on the inner band and bearing the image of a skull on the outer band.

Makers mark: serifed T.S in rectangle.

Notes:

The deceased individual can be identified with certainty as Sir Francis Vincent of Stoke d'Abernon. See attached report by David Taylor.

    I believe this ring is in fact in Elmbridge Museum in Weybridge, Surrey, where it was unveiled in March this year.
