A copper alloy strap mount dating from the post medieval period. The mount is 24.5mm long, 13.1mm wide and 7.5mm thick. It is shaped like an acorn and has two bent integral spikes on the reverse. Similar examples on the database are NLM-6B94B3, WILT-FE5A23, BH-8ADCC5, and SWYOR-C1E041.
