A worn and incomplete medieval cast copper-alloy single-looped buckle frame. The ornate outer edge features a pair large knops flanking a constriction for an extant (but buckled) sheet roller. The thickness at the knops (outer edge) of 5.4mm tapers to 4.9mm at the attachment end. The pin bar is offset and narrowed; the pin is missing. The buckle frame has a dull dark brown colour. It has been squashed slightly in profile.
