An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman T-shape brooch. The head has tubular wings, seemingly plain. A slightly bent and truncated pin is retained around the axis bar. Protruding from the front of the head, and perpendicular to it, is a vestigial semicircular chain loop (W.: 6.65mm). The wings are below the upper bow, almost perpendicular to it. The upper bow is rectangular (W.: 8.1mm) and is flat on the lower face. It has been broken as a result of old damage after c. 15.1mm. The main field of the upper bow is rectangular and moulded, with stepped edges. It features a pair of longitudinal rectangular recesses which were probably once enamelled, as with an example illustrated in Hattatt (2000, 303; ref. 911). The brooch has corroded to a dull green colour.
