Medieval finger-ring, consisting of a fragmentary hoop and the bezel. The hoop is a simple flat band and the bezel is formed of a heart shape, on to which is engraved the sacred monogram "IHC" to signify the name of Jesus. This is topped by a wreath likely to represent the Crown of Thorns.

The finger-ring is gold and dates from the late fifteenth or early sixteenth century.
