A silver Roman coin; a denarius of Septimius Severus (193 - 211), with Apollo on the reverse. The coin has a diameter of 17.1mm and is 2.2mm thick. It weighs 2.72g. It was probably minted in Rome in 195 AD. For reference see Sear's "Roman coins and their Values" volume 2, number 6264.
