Obverse description: King, crowned and wearing armour, standing facing in a ship and holding a sword and a shield quartered with the arms of England and France. The top third of the ship has lion and lis decoration.
Obverse inscription: EDWARD DEI GRA REX ANGL Z FRANC D HYB (Annulet stops)
Reverse description: Floriated cross with a lis at the end of each limb. In each angle of the cross is a lion passant, guardant with crown above and three pellets below. A small lis and annulet at top of the cross. All within a double octofoil and an inner circle.
Reverse inscription: + IHC AUTEM TRANSIENS P MEDIUM ILLORUM IBAT (saltire stops)
