A fragment from the blade of a cast copper alloy socketed axehead of late Bronze Age date. The fragment measures 35.4mm by 22.2mm by 9.5mm and weighs 27.4g. The blade flares out slightly as its cross-section narrows. One face is particularly worn and one corner of the blade is damaged.
