Obverse description: Crowned bust facing within a tressure of arches with lis shaped cusps on most terminals. In the inscription the initial mark is cross potent, the E and C are closed, the R is formed with a wedged tail, the A and N are unbared, and the inscription is spearated by annulets.
Obverse inscription: EDWARD D G REX ANGLI FRANC D HYB
Reverse description: Long cross with wedge shaped terminals divides the inscription, in two concentric circles, evenly. In each divided quarter are three pellets conjoined. In the inscription the initial mark is cross potent, the M is lombardic, the R is formed with a wedged tail, the E is closed with a pointed back, and C is also closed, the A and N are unbared, and the inscription is spearated by annulets.
