A base sherd of late medieval pottery. It is 41.1mm long, 28.7mm wide and 12.9mm thick. The fabric is fine and varies from mid grey to fawn. The sherd is internally glazed with a dark green iron based glaze. There is a splash of a paler iron based glaze on the outer face. It probably dates from the fourteenth or fifteenth century.
