Incomplete Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval copper alloy openwork gilt mount, of the form with two prongs on the reverse, missing one end and one prong. I measures an incomplete 27.4mm in length, max.19.4mm in width and 1.8mm thick. It weighs 2.95g. The mount is trefoil in shape to the break, with an openwork shape cut in each foil. Extending from the end opposite to the break is an acorn knop. The break, which is worn, is across another openwork circular hole. The gilding suggests late 15th to 16th century in date.
