Head of copper alloy trumpet brooch. The back is concave to house the chord and coil of a sprung pin mechanism (Missing). There are plates at each side with circular holes to house the axis bar for the pin. Stub of chain loop remaining. Concentric circled incised either side of stub of bow. Remains of bow has a raised longitudinal line at the centre.
