A flint microlith of Mesolithic date. The artefact has been manufactured from part of a cut-down bladelet of roughly semi-circular section. From the slightly angled base the tool tapers in width and thickness, terminating in a pronounced point. Re-touching is limited to one of the vertical edges. Towards the base is a wide, shallow notch and above this is a slightly toothed area. The flint is a heavily patinated creamy-white colour. The tool measures 26.3mm long, 11.4mm wide and 4.9mm thick. The weight is 1.21g.
