Iron age le tene II type brooch? measures 46mm long, 6mm wide, 2mm thick . The brooch is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 1.3 grams. The object consists of a wire which is folded over its self to form a circular loop, this is then attached to itself half way down its length just above a small bulge. The object is very similar to a Le tene type II, except that all publsihed examples have a catchplate where this example has a sub circular loop?
