post medieval copper alloy sword belt fitting, 32mm long, 28mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 6.89grams. The object is sub rectangular in form with a circular loop protruding from what would be the upper edge. It is almost complete and is decorated on the outer surface with a foliate pattern which may have been tinned. Thee are two small circular holes in each end which are respected by the decoration.
