A Roman disc-shaped plate brooch with peripherally projecting lobes only one of which survives. The brooch has two concentric fields of enamel, the outer blue, and the inner possibly white, which are separated by a circles of punched S shapes. The central boss, which is a separate fitting, has an orange inlay. The hinge and catchplate and part of the pin survive.
