A fragment of a Post Medieval coin. Contemporary copy of a Charles I half crown (1625-1649). The coin has a copper core with silver plating and has been sliced, probably to check as forgery. Dimensions: diameter c.27mm; thickness 2.4mm; weight 6.0g
