A cast copper-alloy Hod Hill type Roman brooch, produced c.43AD-70AD. Most of the head of the brooch has broken off. The bow has a flattened panel with wide convex sides. Below the panel is a grooved collar leading to a tapering foot. The pin and most of the catchplate are missing.
