Medieval gilded copper-alloy buckle, oval frame with offset narrowed bar, D-sectioned pin with blunt point curved over outside edge and rocker-arm engraving on transverse thickening near loop, plate with pin slot, tiny lateral projections near frame recesses, two rivet holes, engraved perimeter line, elongated attachment edge in the form of an animal head, and very much shorter rear part. Frame 13 x 22mm. Plate 37 x 15.5mm (rear part 13 x 14mm). 13th century.
