Post Medieval gold ring, 16-20mm in diameter and 3mm wide. The object is similar to a wedding band with a semi-circular section and a plain external surface. Its flat interior surface is inscribed with ' I cannot showe the love I owe' The lettering is fairly plain, with the I's resembling trailing Z's.
Notes:
As the object has no other markings it is impossible to date it any narrower than the post medieval period. Therefore the object cannot be classed as treasure and has been disclaimed.
This has been noted as an interesting find by the recorder.
