An incomplete silver Roman Republican denarius of the Moneyer Marcus Lucilius Rufus; [M.] LVCILI below; [RVF] above; Victory riding r. in biga (two horse chariot); Rome, 101 BC. RRC p. 327, no. 324/1.


Lucilius was the son of Mn. Lucilius who was a senator in 129 BC. This is from a large issue, there being 170 obverse dies and 212 reverse dies recorded.
