Cast lead alloy token, probably medieval, possibly post medieval. Subcircular lead disc, pierced for suspension - pierced from the reverse, circular piercing, diameter 2.3mm. One side (the obverse) has raised moulded decoration of an irregular seven spoked star with a pellet in each angle, although the pellet in one angle has been obliterated by the piercing. The reverse has raised moulded decoration of a line with a cross bar at each end (like an H), with a pellet on each terminal of the cross bars - one of the pellets is enlarged or the original line is possibly extended across this cross-bar - dimensions of this is c.9.5mm x 10.5mm. This may be the initial H. Thick cream patina. Diameter 22.6mm-25.0mm, thickness 2.9mm, weight 7.58g.
