A lead alloy token dating from the late medieval or early post medieval period. It has a diameter of 28.8mm and is 2.1mm thick. There is a chip in the edge and the token is bent. It is uniface and the design is of a central cross with slightly wedge shaped arms and a comma shaped pellet in each angle. There is a border which is decorated with raised pellets and lines in groups. The design of the token is similar to coins of the period. Similar examples dating from the fifteenth century can be seen on page 40 of Leaden Tokens and Tallies by Edward Fletcher (2005).
