Elaborate gilt copper alloy buckle plate; sub-triangular with moulded zoomorphic terminal at apex. The opposite end is folded over with two looped sections to hold the missing frame. The plate was attached using 3 copper alloy rivets (1 now missing). The front is engraved with an intricate symmetrical foliate design highlighted with gilding.
